A woman shared how she spotted an odd detail in her boyfriend's photo while he was watching the Olympics 'with the boys', prompting thousands of people to praise her for the detective work.

A woman who says that her boyfriend cheated on her has revealed how she discovered the truth.

She went viral on TikTok after sharing the awkward moment - with the video racking up 1.3 million hits.

In it, she mimicked texting her boyfriend to ask what he was doing, and he replied to say he was watching the Olympics 'with the boys'.

But the photo he sent suggested something different - prompting Megan to ask "Do I have dumb written on my forehead?"

In the reflection of the mirrored cabinet - she spotted a glass of red wine, as well as a hydro flask, and a woman's knee.

And some books which she thought belonged to a woman - including one on the history of prestige fashion brand Chanel.

Her video racked up thousands of comments, as many praised Megan for her detective work.

One commented: "I can already hear the excuses," while another added: "He really thought that would work too, who gave him the audacity to be so potentially unaware."

A third asked: "Why do they send pics to incriminate themselves?"

But others defended the man - as they rightly pointed out he could be at a friend's house, who lives with a female partner.

"Hope one of his friends has a girlfriend and they live together," added another.

Another said: "I don't get it. Why would you make that assumption from this photo?"

One man commented: "This looks like how I decorated my old apartment."
